Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Augmento and crypto sentiment analysis.

    • What is a sentiment indicator?

A sentiment indicator is a normalized score between 0 and 1 that represents the overall mood of crypto communities. Our AI uses a hybrid approach — machine learning classifiers trained on 32,000 manually labeled crypto posts combined with linguistic analysis — to classify 93 distinct sentiment topics from X, Reddit, and Bitcointalk.

    • What is a market indicator?

A market indicator is a daily bullish, neutral, or bearish signal derived from sentiment data across multiple assets. It provides a quick overview of the overall market mood and can be used as a complementary signal for trading decisions.

    • Which assets do you cover?

We currently track more than 25 crypto assets with sentiment data, covering all major cryptocurrencies with active Binance trading pairs.

    • What sources do you aggregate?

We collect sentiment from three major platforms: X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, and Bitcointalk. Each source is weighted equally in the combined score, but you can filter by individual source.

    • How often is data updated?

Sentiment data is collected every hour and consolidated into daily values. Free users see data with a delay; paid plans offer real-time access to market and sentiment indicators.

    • What does a score of 0 or 1 mean?

A score near 0 indicates extreme bearish sentiment — the community is very negative. A score near 1 indicates extreme bullish sentiment. 0.5 is neutral. Most scores stay between 0.3 and 0.7.

    • Do you offer an API?

Yes. All plans include API access and CSV exports. Authenticate with an API key and access market indicators, sentiment indicators, and raw sentiment data programmatically. See the API documentation in your dashboard for details.

    • What is the difference between plans?

All plans include the same data and features. The difference is how recent the data is — free users see delayed data, while paid plans unlock real-time access. Higher plans also offer higher API rate limits and commercial licensing.

    • Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
